Tea - Tradition and History (An evening in Cooperation with the VHS - Adult Education Center):

On  9 th November 2017 we had our information evening this year - it took place in cooperation with the VHS Filderstadt.
With this series we want to improve the understanding of the British mentality and the customs of the British and so cultivate the German-British friendship.
This time we decided on the topic: Tea in England.
How did the tea come to England? What kinds of tea are known there? What traditions are maintained when drinking tea in England and many other questions were answered that evening.
Various speakers had split the program.
During the breaks there were four types of teas, cucumber sandwiches and scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam.
A small quiz was also organized and there were many interesting discussions.
The very interested audience enjoyed the evening and gave a lot of positive feedback and comments.
